Provincial Vice Governor Booted, Resigns From Legislature

What’s new: The vice governor of North China’s Shanxi province, Liu Yang, has been dismissed from his official position, the provincial legislature announced during a meeting Monday, according to a state media report.

Liu’s membership to the Shanxi Provincial People’s Congress has also been terminated, after his resignation was approved by the standing committee of the city-level legislature in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi, according to a separate announcement published by the Shanxi Radio and Television Station.
