The issue of cyber violence once again emerged as a focal point at the national political meetings known as the two sessions, which concluded last week. Numerous National People’s Congress (NPC) delegates proposed suggestions, and the issue featured prominently in the annual work reports of China’s supreme court and top prosecutor’s office. “There must be a cost for engaging in cyber violence” the court stated.
