Mercedes-Benz Group AG is making adjustments to its factories to embrace the pure electric era, and will aim to offer customers a line-up of fully electric and hybrid models by 2030, CEO Ola Kaellenius said at a forum in Beijing.

The German automaker is taking the necessary steps to go all-electric, and customers and market conditions will set the pace of the transformation, Kaellenius said at the China Development Forum Monday, reiterating a previous pledge by the company during its annual 2023 earnings presentation last month.
