Exclusive: Citic Executive Joins China’s Exim Bank as Vice President, Sources Say

Wang Kang, a vice president of China Citic Bank Corp. Ltd. (中信银行股份有限公司), has been appointed a vice president at policy lender the Export-Import Bank of China (Exim Bank), sources with knowledge of the matter told Caixin.

Wang, 51, is an experienced financier who held several roles at state-owned financial conglomerate Citic Group Corp. and its subsidiaries, including director of the group board’s general office and chief financial officer of Citic Bank. A person close to Wang described him as prudent and having an eye for detail.
