Chinese Consumers Now Can Pay Zero Down to Buy New Cars

As part of efforts to stimulate car sales, China has introduced changes to its auto loan policies which allow consumers to buy new vehicles with no down payment.
A notice issued Wednesday by the central bank and the National Financial Regulatory Administration allows financial institutions to extend loans covering up to 100% of the purchase price for both traditional and new energy vehicles, based on the purchaser's creditworthiness.
