Chart of the Day: China’s Nuclear Power Investment Hits New High

China’s investment in nuclear power grew in 2023 to a high of 94.9 billion yuan ($13.1 billion), a recent report shows, as the country continues its push toward decarbonizing its electricity generation system.

That’s according to the China Nuclear Energy Development Report (2024) blue book released at a Monday conference organized by the China Nuclear Energy Association.
