Han Yong, ex-chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), was found to have engaged in cronyism, illegally accepted gifts, meddled with law enforcement, and violated the party’s frugality code, among other instances of misconduct, the Central Committee for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) said in a statement Monday.
