President Xi Jinping is set to travel to Europe on Sunday to pay state visits to France, Serbia and Hungary, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a one-line statement.
Xi’s six-day trip comes as China and France celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year, while Hungary is set to take over the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union in July.
