Huawei was China’s third-largest PC manufacturer with an 8.4% market share in 2023
China’s Ministry of Commerce is firmly opposed to the United States’ decision to further tighten semiconductor export restrictions against Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., calling the move “economic coercion.”
The U.S. Commerce Department has further restricted the sale of American technology to Huawei, revoking certain licenses for exports to the Chinese firm.
