China’s Defense Minister Warns Against Interfering on Taiwan Issue

At a security conference over the weekend, China’s defense minister warned external forces against interfering on the Taiwan issue, stating that the Chinese military will “take resolute actions” to make sure separatist efforts never succeed.
“Anyone who dares to separate Taiwan from China will only end up in self-destruction,” China’s defense chief Dong Jun said Sunday at the annual Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, according to reports from state-run Xinhua News Agency.
