Three Chinese Schools Make Top 20 of Global University Rankings

Three elite Chinese universities, consisting of two on the mainland and one in Hong Kong, have made it on to a list of the world’s top 20 educational institutions for the 2024-25 school year.
Peking University climbed three places to reach 14th this year, the highest ranking among Chinese institutions, according to the latest QS World University Rankings released Tuesday. Tsinghua University, ranking 20th, returned to the global top 20 after ranking 25th last year. The University of Hong Kong rose to 17th place, up from 26th a year earlier.
