Apple and Micron Leaders Visit China as U.S. Looks at More Tech Curbs

(Bloomberg) — Jeff Williams, the chief operating officer of Apple Inc., and Sanjay Mehrotra , president of Micron Technology Inc., have made a low-profile trip to Beijing to meet senior Chinese officials as the United States is again considering stricter tech curbs against China.
The executives on Monday joined a U.S, business delegation meeting Vice Premier He Lifeng and Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The vice premier urged American firms to “participate aggressively in China’s further reform and modernization process,” according to state-owned media.
