BYD Aims for 50% Overseas Sales as It Posts Strong First Half

(Bloomberg) — BYD Co. Ltd. expects overseas deliveries to account for almost half of its total sales in the future, suggesting it will continue to set up global production hubs to overcome punishing tariffs.
China’s top-selling automaker posted a 33% jump in second-quarter net income to 9.1 billion yuan ($1.3 billion) while revenue rose 26% to 176.2 billion yuan.
