Hunan Province Finance Chief’s Deadly Fall Treated as a Criminal Case

The death of Liu Wenjie, the finance chief of south China’s Hunan province, who apparently fell from a window of her home, is being treated as a criminal case by police, sources familiar with the matter told Caixin.
Two men who had visited Liu’s home also died in the fall, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Another government official described the incident as “a criminal case.”
