A rundown of the news making headlines in and around China:

Tesla FSD: Tesla Inc. announced Tuesday that it has started rolling out its advanced driving assistance feature in China in phases through a series of software updates. Tesla has established data centers in China for localized training, marking a significant step in deploying the feature, called Full-Self Driving (FSD), in the country. The U.S. electric-vehicle maker had previously received approval to road test the feature in certain parts of China. The company hopes the feature will give it an edge in the smart driving market, where it faces challenges from Chinese automakers such as BYD Co. Ltd., which are releasing models with similar features.
