Intel Corp. has appointed a new top executive to lead its China operations as the U.S. chipmaking giant navigates mounting domestic competition and shifting geopolitical dynamics.
Wang Rui, chair of Intel China, will retire this month after nearly four years in the role, the company said Tuesday. She will be succeeded by Wang Zhicong, a 30-year Intel veteran who was promoted to vice chair earlier this year.
