Exclusive: Citic Bank’s International Department Chief Becomes Unreachable

China Citic Bank Corp. Ltd.’s international business department chief has become unreachable amid the country’s ongoing anti-graft campaign in the state-owned financial sector, multiple people familiar with the matter told Caixin.
Caixin has made several phone calls to Zhang Lin since Monday, all of which were unanswered.
One of her close relatives is also likely to have been involved, a financier told Caixin. The relative previously worked at a provincial branch of Citic Bank but left several years ago, the person said.
