Nvidia plans $100 billion investment in OpenAI
On Sept. 22 local time, Nvidia announced a plan to invest $100 billion in OpenAI under a strategic partnership that will enable OpenAI to deploy at least 10 gigawatts of AI data centers. The first gigawatt-scale systems are slated for deployment in 2026. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the investment and infrastructure collaboration marks the next leap forward to power the next era of intelligence.
