Meituan’s food-delivery platform Keeta launches in the UAE
Meituan on Sept. 27 announced the launch of its international food-delivery brand, Keeta, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This marks Keeta’s third market entry in the Middle East in 40 days, following launches in Qatar in August and Kuwait in September.

- Moore Threads is a Chinese AI chipmaker that recently received fast-track approval for its STAR Market IPO despite reporting significant net losses. Founded in October 2020 by former Nvidia China general manager Zhang Jianzhong, the company develops general-purpose GPUs to compete with Nvidia. Its CTO, Zhang Yubo, also previously worked at Nvidia.

- Tencent released and open-sourced its Hunyuan Image 3.0 model, an industrial-grade native multimodal image generation model with 80 billion parameters. It also open-sourced two 3D-generation models, Hunyuan 3D-Omni and Hunyuan 3D-Part. Hunyuan 3D-Omni is noted as the first 3D-generation framework supporting multiple conditional controls and input modalities, while Hunyuan 3D-Part allows flexible and controllable component splitting and generation.

- Suzhou JoyIn Technology Co. Ltd., a consumer-grade embodied intelligence firm, recently completed a 200 million yuan early-stage funding round. This brings their total early-stage financing to nearly 500 million yuan.
