China, U.S. to Resume Trade Talks in Malaysia This Week

A high-level Chinese delegation led by Vice Premier He Lifeng will travel to Malaysia for a new round of economic and trade talks with the U.S. from Oct. 24 to 27, China’s Ministry of Commerce has announced.
The announcement, made Thursday by a ministry spokesperson, confirmed that the two sides agreed to the meeting. The talks are intended to address “important issues” in the bilateral economic relationship, the spokesperson said.
