Turbine-Maker Goldwind Aims to Get One-Third of Sales From Overseas as Expansion Gains Speed

Goldwind Science & Technology Co. Ltd. (002202.SZ), the world’s largest wind turbine maker, aims for its overseas business to account for one-third of total sales within the next five years, a senior executive said.
“Over the past five years, Goldwind’s overseas business has maintained an annual growth rate of around 50%,” said Wu Kai, vice president of Goldwind and chairman of its international unit, in a recent interview with Caixin. The company’s international sales rose to 29.4% of total revenue in the first half of 2025, up from 21.2% in 2024.
