Ping An Insurance (Group) Co. of China Ltd. has agreed to sell control of China Hi-Tech Group Co. Ltd. (600730.SH), continuing its divestment of noncore assets inherited from the restructuring of Peking University Founder Group Corp.
China Hi-Tech said Saturday that a Ping An subsidiary will transfer its 20.03% stake in the listed company to Hubei Yangtze River Shiyu Xinji Semiconductor Co. Ltd. (Yangtze Semiconductor).
