Ex-Agricultural Bank Executive Faces Charges in Corruption Probe

A former senior executive at Agricultural Bank of China Ltd., one of the country's biggest state-owned lenders, has been expelled from the Communist Party and is facing prosecution for alleged corruption, including bribery and profiting illicitly from a role held after leaving the bank.
Feng Jianlong, who once headed the bank’s operations in Zhejiang province, is accused of abusing his position by accepting bribes, trading favors for influence, and continuing to exploit his connections after stepping down. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) said Feng, 64, used his influence to help others secure jobs and loans and amassed illicit wealth.
