China Expels Former Bank of China Vice President

After roughly five months under investigation, Lin Jingzhen, a former executive vice president of Bank of China Ltd., has been expelled from the Communist Party and had his case transferred to prosecutors over alleged bribery.
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) said Friday that Lin, 60, was found to have committed serious violations of law and party discipline, including acceptance of bribes.
