Panasonic Passes Its U.S., European TV Businesses to China’s Skyworth

(Nikkei Asia) — Japanese electronics giant Panasonic will transfer television sales operations for North America and Europe to major Chinese appliance-maker Skyworth Group Ltd. in April, turning its own focus to sales back home and production of high-end models.

Panasonic has signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with Skyworth covering the TV business in Europe and North America, including the transfer of sales operations.
