AI Startup Gives Chinese Robots a Lesson in Japanese Hospitality

(Nikkei Asia) — Japanese artificial intelligence startup Zeals Co. Ltd. is introducing Chinese humanoid robots that can perform tasks like guiding patients in hospitals, adopting a born-in-China, raised-in-Japan strategy as robot development lags at home.
Zeals began demonstration testing last month using a Unitree G1 robot developed by China’s Unitree Robotics. Zeals defines the robot’s tasks and designs its actions.
