A former nationally recognized anti-corruption expert in southwestern China’s Guizhou province has been placed under investigation, marking the latest downfall in a sweeping regional anti-graft campaign that has recently ensnared multiple senior female officials.
Gui Fang, the former director of the case review office at the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, is facing an official probe, the commission announced on its website on Friday, April 17.
