Former Chairman of Guizhou Big Data Giant Probed in Corruption Sweep

Kang Keyan, the inaugural chairman of the state-owned enterprise Guizhou Big Data Industry Group, is under investigation for suspected serious violations of party discipline and law, local graft busters announced Wednesday, marking the latest downfall in the province’s data sector anti-corruption sweep.
The probe comes seven months after the investigation into his successor at the state-owned group, highlighting an ongoing crackdown on corruption in Guizhou’s flagship big data industry. The province’s top disciplinary watchdog said Kang is cooperating with disciplinary reviews and supervisory investigations.
