Ming Yang’s U.K. Knock-Back Highlights Challenges for Chinese Wind Firms in Europe

(Dialogue Earth) — After being shut out of a German project, Chinese wind power company Ming Yang Smart Energy Group Ltd. had been looking to the U.K. as an entry point to European markets, as Dialogue Earth reported in March.

Ming Yang was planning to build a $2 billion wind power factory at a Scottish port, which would have been the U.K.’s largest such facility.
