DJI, Insta360 File Competing U.S. Patent Lawsuits Over Camera Tech

Chinese consumer electronics manufacturers SZ DJI Technology Co. Ltd. and Shenzhen Arashi Vision Co. Ltd., better known as Insta360, filed competing patent infringement lawsuits against each other in a U.S. court over key camera technologies.
DJI initiated the legal action on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, accusing Insta360’s newly launched Luna Ultra gimbal camera of violating four of its utility patents involving gimbal control and tracking systems. The following day, DJI expanded the suit with two design patent infringement claims.
