China’s sweeping anti-corruption campaign has ensnared another senior figure in the country’s defense-industrial complex. On Wednesday, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, China’s top anti-graft watchdog, announced that Bian Zhigang, a member of the Communist Party group and deputy head of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND), is under investigation for suspected serious violations of Party discipline and law.
