(London) — Viral rumors claiming a homeless man has “occupied” a 210-million-pound ($278 million) London mansion tied to the ex-wife of China Evergrande Group’s founder have been debunked.

Caixin learned from sources familiar with the matter that the man has merely camped on the porch, a fact that pours cold water on Chinese internet speculation that he could claim the property under U.K. adverse possession law.
