The former top anti-corruption official at China’s civil aviation regulator has turned himself in to authorities, becoming the latest high-ranking official swept up in Beijing’s relentless anti-graft crackdown.
Liang Chaoping, 70, who served as the head of the discipline inspection group at the Civil Aviation Administration of China, or CAAC, is under investigation for suspected serious violations of party discipline and laws, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said Monday, July 6.
