China’s National Medical Products Administration has approved a first-in-class drug targeting type 1 narcolepsy in adults and adolescents 16 and older.
The drug, which improves symptoms of excessive daytime sleepiness and cataplexy, marks a breakthrough for a globally innovative drug launched first in China. It has also been filed in the U.S., Japan and Europe.
