CDB Names Financial Veteran Huang Zhiqiang Deputy Party Chief

Huang Zhiqiang, a financial veteran and former senior official in Inner Mongolia, has been appointed deputy Communist Party chief of China Development Bank, filling a key leadership vacancy at the country’s largest policy lender.
CDB disclosed the appointment on its website on Wednesday afternoon. Huang takes over a post previously held by Tan Jiong, who left on July 23 to become party chief of People’s Insurance Co. (Group) of China Ltd. (PICC).
