China is reshuffling key positions across its securities regulator and major market infrastructure entities, notably reassigning the Shanghai Stock Exchange executive who led the bourse during the abrupt halt of Ant Group’s mega IPO, Caixin has learned.
Cai Jianchun, the exchange’s president since August 2020, will step down to become a senior expert at the China Financial Futures Exchange, sources familiar with the matter told Caixin.
