China’s C919 Completes First Scheduled International Commercial Flight

China’s homegrown C919 passenger jet completed its first scheduled international commercial flight on Aug. 12, landing in Ulaanbaatar, the Mongolian capital.

The inaugural overseas service marks a milestone for Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China Ltd. (COMAC) as it works to expand the narrow-body jet’s presence abroad and build an international operating record.
