China opposes U.S. AI stance

China’s foreign ministry said it opposes forcing countries to take sides and engaging in bloc confrontation in the AI ecosystem, in response to U.S. demands for parties to choose sides in the China-U.S. AI ecosystem. 

Beijing urged all parties to abandon zero-sum thinking, respect the digital sovereignty of all nations and work together to build a fair and reasonable global AI governance system.
