Jack Ma, Alibaba Top Executives Buy $102 Million of Stock After Record Share Sale

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. founder Jack Ma and top executives have purchased more than HK$800 million ($102 million) worth of the company’s Hong Kong-listed shares in recent days to shore up market confidence following a record HK$80 billion share placement.

Ma has purchased more than HK$600 million of Alibaba’s shares since the company announced the placement on Aug. 23, Caixin has learned from sources familiar with the matter on Tuesday.
