Momenta to Mass-Produce Level 3 Autonomous Vehicles, Eyes Subscription Model

Chinese autonomous driving startup Momenta is partnering with automakers to mass-produce Level 3 self-driving vehicles while exploring a consumer-facing subscription model to reshape its business model.

The strategic shift was unveiled alongside Momenta Global Ltd.’s first interim financial report since its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. For the first half of 2026, Momenta posted 1.6 billion yuan ($238 million) in revenue, up 75.9% year-on-year, while net loss reached 16.5 billion yuan.
