ByteDance Ltd. launched a major update to its workplace collaboration app Feishu, embedding artificial intelligence agents more deeply into the product as chief executive Liang Rubo pledged to commit additional resources to the enterprise market.

The move highlights intensifying competition among Chinese technology companies, including Tencent Holdings Ltd. and Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., as they seek to monetize AI by turning everyday office software into a key channel for corporate adoption.
