Nubia Releases Second-Generation AI Phone

Chinese smartphone-maker Nubia Technology Ltd. has launched its second-generation AI-native Doubao phone, betting big on use of the technology in mobile ecosystem.

The NaviX Ultra, which hit the market on Wednesday starting at 5,499 yuan ($820) after government subsidies, features a consumer version of ByteDance Ltd.’s Doubao AI assistant that allows users to execute complex, cross-app tasks via voice commands.
