China, U.S. Hold New York Trade Talks, Add AI Dialogue

Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng met U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in New York on Sunday for economic and trade talks that included a dialogue on artificial intelligence, China’s state-run Xinhua News Agency said.

The two sides held candid, in-depth and constructive exchanges on implementing agreements reached in previous trade consultations and on promoting bilateral trade and investment, Xinhua said.
