China Targets Large-Scale Solid-State Battery Use by 2030

China aims to achieve the large-scale application of solid-state batteries by 2030, according to a new national industry blueprint released Monday.

The target, outlined in the country’s 15th Five-Year Plan for the New-Type Battery Industry, underscores Beijing’s intention to strengthen its lead in a technology that determines the competitiveness of electric vehicles.
