Audi Splits China Brands Between JV Partners to Curb Internal Competition
Listen to the full version

Audi AG is splitting its China operations between two joint-venture partners, assigning its traditional four-ring brand to China FAW Group Co. Ltd. and its new letter-logo electric-only AUDI marque to SAIC Motor Corp. Ltd., a move aimed at avoiding internal competition as homegrown electric vehicle brands reshape the country’s luxury car market.
