Tencent Holdings Ltd. launched a unified artificial intelligence workspace Thursday, bringing together its productivity applications as competition intensifies among Chinese technology companies in enterprise AI.

Called Buddy One, the workspace centers on WorkBuddy, an AI agent designed to automate complex office tasks across applications. The launch reflects a broader shift from standalone chatbots toward integrated systems that can carry out multistep workflows.
