Nov. 2: HKEX accepts Chinese government bonds
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing’s futures and stock options clearinghouses begin accepting Chinese government bonds as noncash margin collateral. Investors can use the bonds to replace some cash collateral, improving capital efficiency.
