Nexperia’s Dutch Entity Seeks $2 Billion From Wingtech

Nexperia’s Dutch entity is seeking $2 billion in damages from Chinese owner Wingtech Technology and related companies, escalating a dispute that has split the chipmaker’s Chinese and overseas operations.

In a Nov. 3 disclosure, Wingtech said the Dutch business had brought a claim in Amsterdam alleging that Nexperia’s Chinese units breached internal agreements and built a separate supply chain that disrupted its operations and created direct competition.
