Chinese prosecutors have indicted former Politburo member and Xinjiang Communist Party chief Ma Xingrui on bribery charges, state news agency Xinhua reported on Thursday.

Prosecutors in Yichang, Hubei province, filed the case with the city’s Intermediate People’s Court after the Supreme People’s Procuratorate ordered his arrest. The announcement gave no trial date or amount allegedly involved.
