The Provocation Defense in China

In abiding with the right of innocence before proven guilty, I chose to reserve judgment on the Yao Jiaxin murder case before the trial was concluded. In the U.S., barring violations of criminal procedure, this has been the long-standing tradition. However, still left with the residue of a "red education," my instincts to take "revolutionary action" and rush to the courthouse with a banner with the words "Down with Yao Jiaxin, the Black-Hearted Killer," had to be subdued with not a little effort.
